A generous donor challenged our community by offering to match the first $50,000 we raised. Thanks to the incredible support of individuals, churches, businesses, and community partners, we met that challenge and raised our first $100,000!!!

That is an amazing milestone, but the work is not finished.

We still need to raise $130,000 to complete the project and protect the building where more than 1,000 individuals and families receive help every month.

For more than 30 years, Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry has made sure families in our community do not have to face hunger alone. Since 1995, we have served our neighbors in Lawrenceville and Dacula by providing emergency food, personal care items, and connections to resources that help individuals and families regain stability.

Every week, about 250 families visit our food pantry. They include parents working multiple jobs, seniors living on fixed incomes, children who need healthy meals, and neighbors facing unexpected hardships. For many, the Co-Op provides the support they need to make it through another week.

Our building's roof has reached the end of its life. Leaks have begun affecting the food pantry, storage areas, office space, and the three nonprofit organizations that share our building. Every time it rains, food, supplies, equipment, and the services our community depends on are at risk.

Replacing the roof will cost $230,000.

A roof may not be the first thing people think about when they support a food pantry, but it protects everything inside. It keeps food dry, preserves personal care supplies, protects equipment, and provides a safe place for families to come when they need help.
