For more than 30 years, the Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry has worked to ensure that no family in our community faces hunger alone. Since 1995, we have served our neighbors in Lawrenceville and Dacula by providing emergency food, personal care items, and connections to resources that help individuals and families regain stability and independence.

Every week, approximately 250 families rely on our food pantry. These are parents working multiple jobs, seniors living on fixed incomes, children who need nutritious meals, and neighbors facing unexpected hardships. For many, the Co-Op is the difference between uncertainty and a dependable meal.

Today, the future of that support is at risk.

Our building's aging roof is failing. Water leaks are threatening the food pantry, household supply storage, and the operations of three community organizations that share our facility. Every leak puts food, supplies, equipment, and vital services at risk.

A roof may not seem as urgent as food on a shelf, but it is the shelter that protects every meal, every diaper, every can of soup, and every act of hope that reaches a family in need. From June 8 through July 5, 2026, Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry is launching the Save the Roof Campaign, a matching gift challenge to raise $50,000 from our community.

Thanks to a generous matching grant, every dollar donated during the campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar, creating more than $100,000 in total impact toward the installation of a new roof that will protect our mission for decades to come.

This building serves more than 1,000 individuals and families every month. Together, we can ensure it remains a safe and reliable resource for our community.
