A single moment of belief from a teacher can change a child's life.
A movement of teachers who lead with love can change the system.

Teach For India exists to do both — at scale.

Please join us on October 15, 2026 at 55 Broadway from 6:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.

for a memorable evening of food, drinks, cards and a community centered with purpose.

Together, the cards we'll play change the hand a child is dealt.

Ticket price: $500 per person. Of this amount, $350 represents a tax-deductible charitable contribution to Teach For India U.S., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 47-3725301). The remaining $150 reflects the fair market value of goods and services received, including dinner, beverages, and entertainment.

No goods or services were provided in exchange for the charitable portion of your contribution beyond what is stated above.

THE PROBLEM

India is home to 30% of the world's poorest children. Half of the country's Class 5 students can't read a Class 2-level book — even after five years of school. Without quality education, that cycle of poverty doesn't break on its own. It repeats, generation after generation, for seven generations.

This isn't a resource or access problem. It's a leadership problem.

OUR BELIEF

Systems change when leaders do. For every child to reach their fullest potential, India needs equity minded leaders operating at all levels of the education system.

THE MODEL

India's top talent becomes Teach For India Fellows — placed full-time, for two years, in the classrooms that need them most.

The Fellowship leads to something remarkable: it transforms both the teacher and the student for good.

The Child grows academically — and as a whole person. Stronger grades. Stronger agency. Stronger character.

The Fellow becomes an equity-minded leader for life. Two years that last a lifetime.

Today, we deliver an excellent, holistic education to 33,500 children across 9 cities in India, while building the country's largest leadership pipeline for education equity.

THE PROOF

Our impact has been rigorously evaluated. Harvard Business School. Cambridge. Columbia. Independent studies all point to one conclusion: Teach For India transforms lives.

For students:

5X faster growth in English fluency
2.5X faster growth in Mathematics
83% complete Grade 12, vs. 47% nationally
40% higher future income for female students

As Harvard's research team put it: "Test scores measured what students learned. TFI's real impact is who they became."

For Fellows:

70% stay in the social sector for life
165+ organizations founded by Fellow Alumni and 80+ run as CXOs

THE SCALE

The effect doesn't stop at the classroom door. It multiplies.

Through the work of our 5,800+ Fellow Alumni, that same belief — that every child deserves an excellent education — now reaches 50 million children across India.

70 of our Student Alumni have returned to serve as Fellows themselves — passing on the same belief once given to them, and continuing the cycle of leadership.

THE INVITATION

This is bigger than good grades or reshaping a classroom. It's a movement rewriting futures — and it doesn't grow without YOU.
