You may walk to the event center or catch a ride on one of the golf carts shuttling guests to the event center. Golf carts will be in operation until 6:30 p.m.
Story
CASA volunteers represent ordinary individuals with an extraordinary commitment to effecting positive change in the lives of abused and neglected children within Cole County. These children often face the risk of being overlooked within an overwhelmed foster care system. Appointed by the judge, CASA volunteers assume the critical role of guiding a singular child or a group of siblings through this complex system, leading them towards secure, enduring, and caring homes.
What sets CASA volunteers apart is their singular focus on one case at a time. This intentional approach allows them to forge genuine connections with each child, ensuring that every case is met with the sustained, personalized attention it rightfully merits.
