Planting Seeds, Raising Change is ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi's FIRST matching-funds, annual giving campaign.

When you donate today, all donations up to $1,000 will be matched by an anonymous donor - which doubles YOUR gift!

Every dollar will go toward paying the tuition for and extra seat in our Boston University Professional Fundraising Certificate for Native Hawaiian participants.

Did you know that Native Hawaiians make up only 5% of fundraising professionals, and that certification can cost upwards of $1,000? ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi is kicking down this access barrier by providing free tuition to Boston University's Professional Fundraising Certificate.

Your gift today will allow ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi to double its capacity and offer this course free of charge to 28 participants a year. As part of the Raising Change program, all cohort participants must pay-it-forward by providing 90 hours of community service to Native Hawaiian organizations or to community groups with limited, unequal access to resources.

ChangeMakers Hawaiʻi believes when our ʻohana can pursue their passion professions, they will have enough resources and skills to remain in Hawaiʻi and contribute to a thriving community.
