Alhamdulillah, we have fundraised for the Ramadan Tent and Iftaar!

🌙 The blessed month of Ramadan is here! By the will of Allah and thanks to your incredible generosity, UHMSA has successfully raised the funds needed to feed 300 students every night in the Ramadan Tent—our true home away from home. We have even secured a Ramadan Reserve to help ensure this tradition continues next year, In Sha Allah.

The mission continues, though. To continue serving our campus community with impactful events and initiatives for the rest of the year, we still need your support for MSA Continuity, Sustainability, and Operations. Help us build a lasting foundation for Muslim life at UH beyond the month of Ramadan. In Sha Allah, together we can make it happen.

FUNDRAISING YET TO COMPLETE ⏳

✨ MSA Continuity ($10,800): We believe in transparency. This budget ensures that UHMSA can continue to support its programs, events, and general operations during and beyond Ramadan; these costs also help contribute to raising awareness for our Ramadan programs.

FUNDRAISING COMPLETED ALHUMDULILLAH ✅

⛺Tent Structure ($12,000): The tent looks like just a 40’x50’ structure but it is much more than that. Your contribution helps brings the heart and soul to the Ramadan Tent.

🍽 Iftaar and Food (~~$34,000~~) ($21,400): From catering orders to serving, your donation directly contributes towards hot meals for 300+ students every night through Ramadan on campus. Thanks to our partner restaurants sponsoring nights, this cost was able to be lowered, Alhamdulillah

💡Logistics & Events ($3,750): There are many different moving people and parts that ensure the Ramadan Tent and the events we have inside it are successful. Your donation contributes to things like supplies for events, keeping the lights on at night, fans, cleaning supplies, and transportation fees.

🍃 Decoration ~~($1,000)~~ ($500): With decoration, we make the Ramadan Tent feel warm, welcoming, and at home. Your donation contributes to vibrant lighting, curtains, prayer rugs, and many other decorative items to make this Ramadan a special one.

⚙️ Miscellaneous ($750): Other small but important costs that arise to ensure smooth operation of all events during Ramadan.

🌙 Ramadan Reserve ($10,800): This isn't just a surplus; it’s our foundation for the future. This reserve allows the next year's Ramadan Core team to hit the ground running on Day 1, ensuring that no time is lost in securing the tent, catering, and logistics.
