Ramen & Redemption

A Night of Music, Mission & Experience

An evening designed to bring you closer to the people, purpose, and hope behind Second Verses.

Ramen & Redemption is not a typical dinner event.

It is an invitation to experience a small glimpse of the world in which Second Verses serves.

For one evening, we are stripping away the extras. The meal will be simple. The setting will be intentional. The stories will be real. Through music, conversation, and shared experience, you will step closer to the lives of the incarcerated men and women we have the privilege of walking alongside.

You will hear why Second Verses exists, what happens when we carry music behind prison walls, and how relationships built around a song can open the door to conversations about grace, forgiveness, redemption, and the Living Hope we have in Christ.

You may laugh. You may be surprised. You may see prison ministry differently by the time you leave.

Most importantly, we hope you will see the people we serve differently.

What to Expect

The evening will include live music, interactive experiences drawn from the work we do inside correctional facilities, stories from the mission field, and a deliberately simple meal inspired by food familiar to many of the people we serve.

Yes, there will be ramen.

The simplicity is intentional.

We want you to experience something closer to their world while hearing about the hope that enters it.

Why We Are Gathering

Second Verses uses music to connect with the lost and walk alongside the found.

Inside prison walls, music gives us a place to begin. It creates conversation. Conversation builds trust. Trust opens doors.

Through those relationships, we have opportunities to share the Gospel, encourage believers, disciple men and women who are following Christ, and equip them to live out the Great Commission in one of the most overlooked mission fields in our communities.

Ramen & Redemption is a chance to experience that mission instead of simply hearing about it.

At the end of the evening, we will share ways for those who believe in this work to become part of what happens next, including joining the community of people who make this ministry possible month after month.

There is no cost to attend.

There is simply an invitation to come, experience it, and decide whether this is a mission you want to help carry forward.
