You are invited to the 16th Annual Reiche International 5K - 2026

The race will be in person this year with the start and end on the Clark Street and Spring Street intersection at Reiche.

The theme is “Space” so put on your favorite costume and walk, jog, or bike the course – Watch out for UFOs, planets, spaceships, astronauts, and stars!!
For all of the reasons we love the Reiche 5K every year: Support for our school, community spirit, a beautiful way to be active outdoors and PRIZES!

We will also raffle off bigger prizes provided by our generous sponsors so don’t forget to register!

We love our community and look forward to having this awesome event back in the West End of Portland.

To support everything we do at Reiche Community School, we hope to raise 5K from our 5K!

How much:
All registrations for Reiche students are free of charge, Adult registration is $30. If this is an obstacle for you, please reach out for registration. Proceeds will be used to support student enrichments, teacher and staff professional development, and community building events.

THANK YOU to the local community businesses that have been incredibly generous towards the Reiche School! These donations have enabled many important learning programs, capital improvements, and community events over the years.

Join the Host Committee for $100! We will include your family as part of the Reiche International 5K host committee.
Dress Code:
One of the joys of the Reiche 5K is the creativity of our community displayed in the form of costumes. Please feel free to wear a costume or imagine yourself wearing a costume!

Race Day Registration: 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. in front of Reiche School, 166 Brackett St, Portland, ME

T-shirt: High quality t-shirt for all registrations received by May 10, 2026!

Prizes: 1st Male/Female/ Non-Binary: Overall, Within Age Groups, Reiche Alumni, Reiche Parent, and Current Reiche Student. There will also be prizes awarded for best costumes.

Age Divisions: 12 & under, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
