Remembrance: A Multidisciplinary Performance Honoring Land, Water & Community

Remembrance is a site-specific, multidisciplinary performance and communal gathering held along Boulder Creek in September 2025. This offering honors the sacred relationship between land, water, and ancestral memory through dance, music, prayer, and shared nourishment.

This event centers and supports Black diasporic, First Nations Indigenous, and Latine artists, including those from displaced First Nations communities, while remaining welcoming to all who wish to witness, honor, and heal in community.

Funds raised will directly support:

Artist stipends and honoraria
Cultural elders and ceremonial facilitators
Indigenous and diasporic chefs
Event permits and accessibility needs
Communal meal following the performance
