Resilience and Reinvention: is for women who are tired of changing who they are just to get ahead — the 67% of us who've felt we had to shrink, soften, or perform just to hit a goal or land a promotion. It's about the paths nobody hands you a map for in your 30's, then again at 45, and again whenever life asks you to. This is a conversation about the other option: staying grounded when the pressure to play a role is loudest, letting go of leadership norms that were never built with women in mind, and growing into more of yourself, not less.

Ellie Roscher is an author of six books, and she teaches yoga and writing in Minneapolis. She is living a professional life she never could have imagined fifteen years ago. Ellie is excited to talk about how COVID catapulted her professional life in a direction where she continues to make the path by walking it, creating a multi-faceted career she didn't see modeled. When she feels like her life is so good that she is getting away with something, she keeps moving in that direction.

Karen Spaeth is Chief Marketing Officer at Starkey, where she leads global marketing, communications, brand strategy, and customer engagement for one of the world's leading hearing technology companies. Before entering the corporate world, Karen built her career in politics and public affairs, giving her a unique perspective on storytelling, influence, and connecting with diverse audiences. She is passionate about using marketing as a force for business growth, community impact, and meaningful human connection. Beyond Starkey, Karen serves on several nonprofit and community boards, supporting organizations focused on health, families, and female empowerment. A passionate advocate for animal welfare, she is also an avid dog lover who enjoys fostering dogs and supporting causes that help people and pets thrive.

Kari Murphy is the Group Vice President, HR Business Partner for Cardiology at Boston Scientific. Throughout her career, she has worked with leaders and teams through periods of growth, change, and transformation, helping build organizations where people can do their best work. Kari is especially passionate about helping people navigate career transitions and leadership opportunities in a way that feels true to who they are. Through the twists, turns, and reinventions of her own career, she has learned that resilience is often less about pushing harder and more about having the courage to evolve, trust yourself, and define success in a way that is unique to you.
