For generations, Hopewell Cemetery has served as a silent witness to the history of Round Rock, Texas. This sacred ground is the final resting place for community founders, veterans, and beloved family members. However, the passage of time and the elements have created a critical need for professional restoration and ongoing maintenance that exceeds our current resources.

The Need for Preservation

Our historical records and recent surveys indicate that several sections of the grounds require immediate attention to prevent permanent loss of local history. Currently, we are facing several challenges:

Over 15 historic headstones require professional resetting and stabilization to prevent cracking.
Perimeter fencing needs significant repair to ensure the security and dignity of the site.
Landscaping and erosion control measures are necessary to protect the integrity of older burial plots.

Our Vision for the Grounds

We are launching this fundraising initiative to implement a comprehensive preservation plan. Our goal is to ensure that Hopewell Cemetery remains a place of beauty, peace, and historical education. Your contribution will support:

The engagement of specialized masonry experts for headstone restoration.
Installation of historical markers to educate visitors on the individuals buried here.
The establishment of a long term maintenance fund to ensure the grass is mowed and the trees are cared for year round.

Your support directly enables us to honor those who came before us. When you give, you are not just maintaining a property; you are protecting a community legacy.

Every dollar contributed goes directly toward the physical care and historical preservation of Hopewell Cemetery. We have already seen several community members step up, but we need your help to complete the project before the next season of heavy weather begins.

By contributing today, you ensure that the stories of Round Rock are never forgotten. We invite you to join us in this professional effort to honor our heritage.
