Project Freedom

On September 11, we remember the lives lost that day, those who answered the call to serve, and those we have lost in the years since. For many combat veterans and their families, the lasting impacts of war remain part of daily life on the Homefront.

Our goal is to raise $250,000 to support combat veterans and their families through local organizations, businesses, and qualified providers. Your donation can help a veteran participate in outdoor recreation, a family spend time together, or a household receive practical assistance during a difficult transition.

Our first year included ski pass access, family bowling and pizza nights, kayaking, breathwork, hardship support, and community club activities. Project Freedom builds on that work through Public Pathways, our campaign platform. Each campaign raises funds for a specific purpose within Project Freedom.

Tributary Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity founded in Bend, Oregon. Project Freedom is a restricted fund within Public Pathways, a program of the Foundation. Donations to this fundraiser support combat veterans and their families.

We invite communities across the country to take part by donating, organizing a campaign, or becoming a Tributary Partner: a local organization, business, or qualified provider that helps deliver support.

In tribute to the lives lost since September 11, 2001, and those who carry their legacy forward through service.

Thank you for supporting Project Freedom.
