Ride-A-Thon is a PUSH program event and funded by a Crow Wing Power Community Grant.

Our Causes
We are hosting a Ride-A-Thon to raise funds for the Lakes Area Skatepark! There is a great need for a free, safe and inclusive recreation facility to benefit our youth in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

We're also partnering with area non-profits to help fund their causes as well. Join us to enjoy a healthy activity while raising funds for the skatepark and other causes! Discover our whole story at LakesAreaSkatepark.org

Join a team (Pledges benefit 50% desired cause & 50% skatepark):

Lakes Area Skatepark - 100% of pledges go to skatepark
BBYC - 50% of pledges go to Brainerd Baxter Youth Center
Black Belts Don't Quit - 50% of pledges go to Black Belts Don't Quit

2) Share your profile & ask for pledges from your family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. Check out these fundraising tips.

3) Enjoy riding or walking a scenic mile loop. Ride or walk up to 3 laps. NON-motorized wheels only. Family members may walk with their novice/young riders at 11:00am. Can’t make it? Do a virtual ride/walk on your own time!

*Earn t-shirt by September 1, 2024 to pick up at the event. After September 1st, your t-shirt can be picked up at a designated location. Shirt size form and info will be emailed.

After your ride/walk on October 5th, celebrate alongside others with a live music, pop-up skatepark, yard games and food.

FAQ

Q: How to do I share or edit my profile?
A: On the Ride-A-Thon page, select your profile in the "Team Member" list. Then select "Share and Manage" by your name.

Q: Can I walk with my novice/young rider family member?
A: Yes! You can walk with them at the 11:00 am ride start time.

Q: Can I both Ride and Walk?
A: Definitely! Feel free to enjoy both riding and walking with others.

Q: Do I have to sign up to ride or walk?
A: No, you do not have sign-up to ride or walk, but raising pledges or a making donation is encouraged. Come by and enjoy the day with us, all are welcome!

Q: Do teams get the rewards if they reach the funding goals?
A: No, rewards are for individual pledge amounts only.

Q: What if I can’t make the event?
A: You have the option to do a virtual ride/walk on your own time. Share your progress on social media and your fundraising page. Please tag us if you do!

Q: What if I can't make the event to pick up my rewards?
A: For those who didn't grab their rewards at the event, we will email info to pick up gear at a designated location.

Q: Is there a reschedule date if it rains?
A: No, there is no reschedule date planned as of now. We will make an announcement if the event gets rescheduled due to weather.
