Ride with us. Raise money. Help build the future of ARTZ Philadelphia.

On Saturday, October 31, ARTZ Philadelphia supporters Robert Grabel and Roger Chavez will lead a team of cyclists getting on their bikes for a 50-mile ride from Center City Philadelphia to Valley Forge and back — and we’d love you to join us.

This isn’t a race. It’s a fun, supportive ride for people who enjoy cycling and want to put those miles toward something that matters. We’re looking for riders who are willing to ride, raise funds, and help us spread the word about ARTZ Philadelphia.

WHY WE’RE RIDING

ARTZ Philadelphia enriches the lives of people living with dementia and their care partners through joyful engagement with arts and culture.

Through museum experiences, creative workshops, music, neighborhood programs, online gatherings and other opportunities for connection, ARTZ creates spaces where people living with dementia can experience creativity, community, dignity and joy.

ARTZ Philadelphia now reaches more than 5,000 people each year — and demand for this kind of community-based support continues to grow.

THE CAMPAIGN for a JOYFUL FUTURE

Our ride will support ARTZ Philadelphia’s Campaign for a Joyful Future, a three-year, $500,000 campaign designed not simply to fund today’s programs, but to build the organization’s capacity for the years ahead.

The campaign will help ARTZ:

Expand Programming for people living with dementia and their care partners; Reach More Communities through partnerships with cultural and healthcare organizations, senior living communities, and neighborhood partners; Build Awareness of the power of arts-centered engagement; and Strengthen the people and fundraising capacity needed for ARTZ to grow and thrive

In short: we’re riding 60 miles to help ARTZ go much farther in the years to come.

JOIN THE RIDE

You don’t need to be an elite cyclist or an expert fundraiser.

We’ll make the fundraising part easy, personal and fun, with tools and sample messages you can use to invite friends, family, colleagues and others in your network to support your ride.

You bring your bike, your enthusiasm and a willingness to ask a few people to support something meaningful. And if by chance, you love to bike but are located outside of the Philadelphia area, or if you are more of a stationary bike or Peloton rider, you, too, can play your part, wherever you are and however you are riding!

We’ll help with the rest.
