The Ride Returns!

Ride for Reid began in 2025 as a partnership between the Reid State Foundation and a group of local motorcycle enthusiasts who wanted to give back in a meaningful way. What started as a community-minded idea quickly became a successful event, bringing riders together for a great day on the road while creating support for Reid State students.

We are incredibly thankful for the riders, volunteers, supporters, and community members who helped make the first Ride for Reid a success. That community involvement is a big part of why the ride returns in 2026!

And this year, we're opening the ride to even more of our community.

Ride for Reid 2026 welcomes motorcycles, Jeeps, and Slingshots! Whether you ride on two wheels, three wheels, or four, we'd love to have you join us.

This year's event falls on Halloween, so we're leaning into the fun! Participants are encouraged to dress up themselves, their rides, or both. We'll have vehicle contests with prizes awarded, so feel free to get creative. Spooky, funny, clever, or completely over the top, we want to see it! Dressing up isn't required, of course. Come as you are and join the fun.

The route will take participants through scenic Central Conecuh County, with a stop near Castleberry before returning to Reid State Community College. After the ride, we'll gather for lunch, fellowship, contest awards, and more Halloween fun.

More than just a ride, Ride for Reid is an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of our area, meet new people, reconnect with friends, and bring our community together for a good cause.

At its heart, Ride for Reid is about our community supporting students. Proceeds from the event support student scholarships through the Reid State Foundation, helping students pursue education and training at Reid State Community College.

We are grateful for everyone who rides, drives, volunteers, shares the event, or simply comes out to support us. Let's have a fun day together and make Ride for Reid 2026 one to remember!

Bring your bike. Bring your Jeep. Bring your Slingshot. Bring a friend. Dress up yourself, your ride, or both, and let's Ride for Reid!
