Over 62% of female athletes struggle with negative body image. Nearly 60% of high school girls doubt they are qualified for their dream careers, and in the workplace, 47% of women report feeling unqualified for their roles. Across all stages, a clear pattern emerges: many girls lack the confidence, courage, and tools needed to pursue their goals. That is where Shero’s Rise steps in.
Through a 12-pillar leadership program, Shero’s Rise equips girls with essential skills for success. Already, over 600 young women—many from underprivileged backgrounds—have participated. Of those, 99% have gone on to pursue leadership roles, demonstrating the program’s powerful impact. Yet in Los Angeles County alone, there are over one million girls. The need for expansion is urgent.
I understand this need personally. As an athlete, I often faced intense pressure and anxiety rooted in self-doubt. With a program like Shero’s Rise, I might have felt empowered rather than discouraged. That is why I am asking you to join this mission. Become part of the Shero’s Rise network and help empower the next generation of female leaders. Every girl deserves the chance to rise.
