The Pacific Northwest is home to a remarkable well of emerging vocal talent and we want you to meet them.

The Rising Artists Showcase begins with a full day of professional development for six of the region's up-and-coming performers: masterclasses with working professionals, an industry Q&A, audition preparation, and scene work. It's immersive, hands-on training to help these talented emerging artists better understand the performing arts landscape, and you're invited to witness.

Artists will be coached by pianist & baritone Mark Davies, international performer and stage director Julia Benzinger, and international baritone Morgan Smith.

After this day of learning, the evening concert puts our artists front and center, featuring their favorite arias alongside a song cycle by Seattle-based composer and mezzo soprano Sarah Mattox.

Rising Waters Collective is committed to nurturing the wealth of regional talent right here in our own backyard. This is one of the ways we put that commitment into action: creating opportunities for emerging artists to develop their craft, connect with industry professionals, and share their work with an audience of community members.
