House Band at The Waiting Room

Each summer, the global School of Rock headquarters selects a subset of House Bands to go to Summerfest, and this year Omaha once again gets the incredible opportunity to perform in Milwaukee at one of the largest music festivals in the world. For our students, it’s more than just a road trip or a chance to be on stage. It’s an experience that builds confidence, deepens friendships, and fuels their passion for music in a way nothing else can.

These students work hard all year long—rehearsing, performing, and growing not just as musicians but as people. Summerfest gives them the chance to showcase their talent on a professional stage, meet other performers from around the country, and realize that their dreams are within reach.

We created this fundraiser to help cover the travel and lodging expenses for the band so that every student has the chance to go—regardless of financial background.
