Our Mission: Bringing Free Music Back to Downtown Colfax

The Historic Colfax Downtown Association was formed with one goal in mind: to preserve the historic character of Downtown Colfax while creating a vibrant, economically thriving Main Street.

Live music has the power to transform a downtown.

It brings neighbors together.
It supports local restaurants and shops.
It attracts visitors to our small town.
It creates consistent reasons to gather in the heart of Colfax.

Over the past year, HCDA has been working behind the scenes — building partnerships with local businesses, coordinating logistics with city, and developing the infrastructure required to host professional-quality events. Sound, staging, permits, insurance, artist coordination — it all takes planning, funding, and community support.

Beginning in May 2026, we will launch a Free Downtown Colfax Concert Series running through September. These concerts will be open to the public and designed to activate Main Street with consistent live music and community energy.

Rock the Frog is how we fund that vision.
