Rooted helps grow community resilience through long-lasting food security. We connect food access, land access, and youth education to cultivate community-led systems for change.

We are committed to local food getting on the tables of thousands of Dane County residents. We do that by farming and sharing locally grown produce. But the roots of change go deeper. Rooted creates pathways for community involvement, skill-building, and agency so people can eat locally, grow their own food, and share their knowledge with others.

We see your commitment, too! As a volunteer, parent, gardener, or neighbor, your support is essential. It’s why thousands of local kids taste vegetables they grow, why families receive fresh produce from neighborhood centers, and why community gathers around food systems and food solutions.

This year we brought together people of all ages to eat, grow, harvest, and learn about food and ecosystems while building community and growing valuable skills. This is resilience in action.

Thank you for supporting Rooted with your financial gift. Let's keep growing community, together.
