Rooted & Ready School Resource Fair

Listen up, Greensboro community! We all say it and know it—our children are our future. And when you take a moment to really think about that, it means the way our children show up this school year matters. When you invest in children, you are actively shaping what our future will look like.

This year, as we prepare for our 2nd annual Back to School event, there has been a deeper level of intention behind every decision. It is not just about handing out supplies. It is about thinking through what children need to walk into the school year confident, prepared, and supported. It is also about recognizing that behind every child is a parent or caregiver who is doing their best to make it all come together.

That is where the vision for Rooted & Ready was born.

This year, the goal is to support the entire household so that families feel grounded, supported, and ready for an excellent school year from day one. Through this effort, we are working to fill 300 bookbags for families living in the Southside of Greensboro, making sure each child has what they need to start strong.

To make this happen, we are raising $3,600 to cover supplies and bring this vision to life. Every donation, no matter the amount, moves us closer to that goal. It is simple, it is impactful, and it is a direct way to show up for families in our community.
