Bridges to Our Roots is a celebration of the food, culture, and resilience that define Philadelphia’s Latine immigrant community and a chance to support the people who show up for that community every day.

On October 12, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, join us on the rooftop of the Bok Building for an evening of connection, featuring signature dishes from seven beloved Philadelphia restaurants and chefs (Casa México / South Philly Barbacoa, El Chingón, Tequilas, El Merkury, Café Tinto, Mucho Perú and Amy´s Pastelillos), live cultural performances honoring the traditions that bridge our roots across generations (Grupo Ñuuxakun, Colombia Mi Corazón Es Tuyo, and Treinta y Tres Delaware); free salsa lessons by Mike Andino from Estilo Dance Studio, to get everyone on the dance floor; and a live DJ. Your ticket includes tastings from all six signature dishes, plus your choice of two drinks (wine or beer) or one cocktail. A cash bar will be available for additional drinks.

If economic circumstances make the ticket price a barrier to joining us, please reach out directly to JM Alvarez (jalvarez@puentesdesalud.org) for additional guidance on making this event accessible.

Every ticket purchased directly supports Puentes de Salud, a Philadelphia nonprofit clinic providing integrated primary care, behavioral health services, food access, and youth education to the Latine immigrant community.

See this event article from The Inquirer: https://www.inquirer.com/food/restaurants/puentes-de-salud-restaurants-benefit-20261006.html.

Join us for good food, good company, culture, and a night that gives back.
