Freezin’ for a Reason—Investing in Our Students!

The Rotary Club of Athens invites you to our 16th Annual Plungefest on Saturday, February 6, 2027, at 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Creek Park in Athens, Georgia!

This year, our goal is to raise $25,000 to support Gifted Savings for rising seniors in the Clarke County School District.

Why Your Support Matters

Gifted Savings pairs a $1,000 investment portfolio with financial education. Throughout their senior year, participating students follow their investments and gain firsthand experience with financial markets. Once they turn 18 and complete the program’s financial education requirements, they can take control of their portfolios.

This experience offers students a financial starting point and knowledge they can carry into adulthood. It encourages them to think about their goals, understand their choices, and begin building for the future.

Your support will help extend this opportunity to the next class of students.

Take the Plunge!

Come ready for a memorable morning of community spirit and chilly fun. Creativity and costumes are encouraged! Attitude is required!

Single registration is $25 per person. Invite family, friends, and coworkers to support your plunge—or gather them together and form a team!
