On October 3, 2026, Money Box Academy is lacing up and hitting the course at FTCC for the Fayetteville Freedom Run: Money Box 5K, a community walk and run event built on one simple belief: financial freedom belongs to everyone.

Since our founding, Money Box Academy has reached nearly 3,000 individuals across North Carolina with free, shame-free financial literacy programming. No jargon. No judgment. Just real education that meets people where they are and gives them the tools to build something that lasts. We have served youth, working families, seniors, college students, faith communities, and small business owners, and we are not done yet.

This race is how we keep going.

Every dollar raised through the Fayetteville Freedom Run goes directly to free financial literacy programming right here in Cumberland County. That means more young people learning to invest before they graduate. More families learning to budget without shame. More small business owners building with confidence. More seniors living without financial fear.
