Run for Hope 5K Run/ 2Mile Walk: Every Step Supports a Child and Family

Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and hopeful about their future. Yet many children in our communities have experienced trauma, instability, or family crises that no child should face alone.

At Burlington United Methodist Family Services, we work every day to provide healing, stability, and opportunity for children and families across our region. Through our Foster Care programs and Staggers Recovery House, individuals and families are given the support they need to rebuild their lives and create brighter futures.

But we cannot do this work alone.

That is why we are inviting our community to come together for the Run for Hope 5K Run/ 2Mile Walk — an event where every step taken helps change lives.

When you register, sponsor, or donate to this event, you are helping provide critical services such as:

Support and stability for children in foster care
Recruitment and training for families willing to open their homes to children in need
Recovery support through Staggers Recovery House, helping women overcome addiction and rebuild their lives
Resources that help families heal, strengthen relationships, and move forward with hope

For the children and families, we serve, healing is a journey. And just like running or walking is a race, every step forward matters.
