Join me, Becky Kier, co- founder and instructor (along with my main squeeze, Todd) at Freedom Canines International, as I take on the Austin International Half Marathon on January 18 — running 13.1 miles to raise funds and awareness for our life-changing service dog and student programs!

I’ve spent decades training dogs and students culminating in Freedom Canines’ mission of Pups Empowering People. Working in the service dog world for so long, I meet so many people without the freedom of movement I am blessed to have. I am left profoundly grateful to be able to get outside and MOVE! This January, I’m running not just for myself, but for every dog and student who is part of the Freedom Canines family — and I hope you will consider being a part of the journey.

Freedom Canines International transforms lives through the partnership between people and dogs. We train purpose-driven service dogs and mentor student handlers through hands-on learning experiences that build confidence, empathy, and real-world skills. Your support enables these programs - from training gear, dog food, student program supplies, veterinary care, and so much more!

My goal is to raise $2,500 — $10 for every mile I’ll run in training before race day!
Every donation helps prepare the next generation of service dogs and empower the people they serve.
