She might have been somebody’s once.
At an estimated 9 years old, there is so much of Gloria’s life that we’ll never know.
How many litters of puppies did she have?
Had she ever received proper veterinary care?
Did she once have a family who loved her?
How long did she survive on her own?
How many nights did she spend hungry, scared, and alone?
Gloria came to us from the Madison Pound after no one came looking for her. She was confused and anxious, suffering from a painful UTI and a mammary tumor that needed to be removed.
Thankfully, that chapter is behind her now. She’s been vetted and spayed, and she’s slowly learning that she can finally exhale. That she’s safe. That she doesn’t have to fend for herself anymore.

We’re continuing to work with our vet on her stiff joints and some ongoing GI issues, but Gloria is getting the care she deserves — likely for the first time in a very long time.
We’d love to raise $500 toward Gloria’s care.

That won’t cover everything — not even close. Her vetting, treatment, spay, and tumor removal have already added up. But $500 would make a meaningful dent in her medical expenses.
