D&S Cuddling Critters Foundation is a Central Texas nonprofit strengthening communities through mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and meaningful connection.

We bring people together through animal-assisted engagement with our registered emotional support livestock, outdoor wellness experiences like Goat Hikes, senior community visits, and collaborative events. Our programs create welcoming spaces where veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, seniors, caregivers, individuals with special needs, and underserved families can find support without stigma or barriers.

We also address the everyday needs that affect well-being. Through Market with a Mission and community partnerships, we have distributed more than 90,000 pounds of food serving approximately 9,000 household equivalents along with hygiene kits, medical items, and other essential resources. Every distribution is designed with dignity: no identification or burdensome paperwork required.

Our work is rooted in the belief that suicide prevention and mental wellness belong to all of us. By connecting individuals with resources, reducing isolation, and fostering relationships, we help communities become stronger and more resilient.

“Healing happens one goat hug at a time.”
