You are cordially invited to our Sahaya International 26th anniversary event !

In these challenging times, where we feel often overwhelmed and depressed by all that is happening, it is important to gather, and listen to stories of hope and resilience, stories of unconditional love, stories of childhood dreams, stories of the magic that can be accomplished when we cross the boundaries of our personal comfort, and join hands together towards building a better world.

The journey of Sahaya International started in a very humble way, 26 years ago, but thanks to our network or supporters (we call them "our Sahaya family"), we have been able to make a big difference in many lives in the countries of our partner organizations (including India, Uganda, Kenya, Vietnam, Philippines). This includes helping orphans, building schools, empowering women, and building community-based conservation programs (for wildlife, including gorillas and lions). This is something worth reflecting on, and celebrating, as it will re-energize us to continue this journey together.

We hope you can join us, and enjoy an evening filled with inspiration and hope, an evening of reconnecting with old friends, and making new friends.

You can watch all slide and video presentations online, and participate in our interactive quiz, but you will miss some of the dance performances and other social aspects of the event. We welcome any donations (which are tax-deductible). Your contributions which will be used towards supporting orphans and vulnerable children, including those affected by HIV, in our programs in Africa and India. This includes also many orphans who previously were supported by USAID-funded organizations that recently were forced to close their doors, and send out the orphans on the street, putting them at risk of starvation and life-threatening infectious diseases. We have been doing our best to help such orphans who knocked on our doors to our best ability, but the needs are larger than our resources. We believe that together we can step it up> together we can give a future to many children.

Dance performance by Rinisha Rai (classical Indian dance)
Fun interactive activities (including quiz with prizes)
