The 38th Annual Salute to Excellence in Education Scholarship & Awards Gala will celebrate excellence and leadership in education while supporting future generations of scholars. This year, we honor:

Dr. Flint W. Fowler – Lifetime Achiever, Retired President & CEO, Boys & Girls Club
Mary Elizabeth Grimes – Stellar Performer, President, Marian Middle School
Maxine Clark and Bob Fox – Champions in Education, Clark-Fox Family Foundation

In addition, the Foundation will recognize five Excellence in Education awardees whose dedication and impact continue to inspire students and strengthen our community.

The St. Louis American Foundation has awarded millions in college scholarships to high-potential, local African-American students. Since its inception in 1994, the Foundation and its partners have invested more than $15 million in the St. Louis community.
