Since 2004, SANCA's mission has been to improve the mental, emotional, and physical health of children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities by engaging them in the joyous creativity of acrobatics and circus arts. We started as a fledgling nonprofit with 5 students in a tiny warehouse and are now a national leader in circus arts education and performance, with a focus on access and inclusion. SANCA took over operations at Emerald City Trapeze Arts in 2023, joining two iconic Seattle schools and giving SANCA an incredible venue to expand our mission.

Our operations run on the magic you see every day: Tuition and space rentals generously cover about 80% of our annual budget. However, to fulfill our mission and keep the lights on, we rely on your partnership for the remaining 20%. This critical funding gap ensures our financial stability and allows us to do the work that truly changes lives: providing life-changing scholarships, creating our award-winning Adaptive Circus programming, and fostering innovation through artist-in-residence grants. Every one of these impactful moments depends on you!

$120,000 in scholarships were awarded to 370 youth for classes, camps, and performance.
