Hi, I’m Haughton, a high school senior and the founder of QB4ALL (Quizbowl for All).

I started QB4ALL because I saw talented, curious students being left out of academic competitions because they couldn’t afford the registration fees.

When we formally launched as a nonprofit last winter, we didn’t know how many students would need our help. The response has been incredible.

Since January, QB4ALL has provided approximately $25,000 in financial assistance to more than 300 students, covering nearly 400 tournament registrations across 32 states, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico.

Every one of those registrations represents a student who had the opportunity to compete because someone helped make it possible. One parent told us:

"As a first-time tournament family, we didn't know what to expect, but QB4ALL made the process smooth and positive. The communication and organization were excellent, and the experience truly boosted my son's confidence and love of learning." -Florida Parent.

So many of you helped make this possible, and we are incredibly grateful. Now a new quizbowl season is beginning, and so are the requests.

This fall, our goal is to raise $15,000 so that we can continue saying “yes” to students who want to compete but need help with the cost throughout the coming season.

For many regional competitions, a little over $50 can give a student the opportunity to compete in a Science Bee, History Bee, or Geography Bee. Around $100 can give four students the opportunity to compete on a team. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us reach another student.

QB4ALL is 100% volunteer-run. Your support goes directly toward expanding access to academic competition for students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate.

Our goal is still the same: Say yes to every student who wants to compete.

We’ve already seen how much is possible when people come together to make that happen. With your help, we can reach even more students this year.

Thank you for being part of QB4ALL.
