The Sharing Bread Initiative is a nonprofit initiative spearheaded by Genius Gives Foundation 501(c)(3) and Innergy Mix committed to combating hunger and sharing the love of Jesus Christ across West Africa.

Since 2020, we have been on the front lines—bringing food, hope, and the Gospel to those society has overlooked.

We don't just distribute food. We distribute dignity. We see people the way Jesus sees them: beloved, worthy, and never forgotten.

Our street teams, feeding centers, and community outreach programs operate with one mission: to be the hands and feet of Christ to the hungry, the hurting, and the hopeless.

YOUR IMPACT, THEIR HOPE

This December, we are launching our 4th Quarter Fundraising Campaign with an ambitious yet deeply urgent goal:

Feed 500 Families Across Nigeria and Ghana

Here's the plan:

250 families in Nigeria
250 families in Ghana
Average household size: 4 people per family
Total individuals impacted: 2,000 men, women, and children

Each family will receive an SBI Care Package, providing a week's worth of nutritious food to sustain them through one of the most challenging seasons of the year.

What's Inside Every SBI Care Package?

Each $35 care package includes:

5kg bag of rice (main staple for multiple meals) 1 liter of cooking oil (essential for meal preparation) 4 tins of tomato paste (flavor, nutrition, and versatility) 4 packs of spaghetti (quick, filling meals for children) 1 sachet roll of powdered milk (nutrition for children and nursing mothers) 1 sachet roll of powdered cocoa beverage (comfort, energy, and hope in a cup)

This isn't just food. It's a lifeline. It's a tangible expression of God's love.

WHERE EVERY DOLLAR GOES: COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY

We believe in radical transparency because your generosity deserves nothing less.

Total Fundraising Goal: $17,500

Budget Breakdown:

Category: Care Packages (500 families × $35)
Amount: $17,500
Purpose: Direct food provision for families in Nigeria & Ghana

Category: Operational Costs
Amount: Covered separately
Purpose: Transportation, storage, security, administrative overhead, volunteer management

Every dollar you give directly feeds a family in need.

Our operational costs are covered through separate funding streams and in-kind donations, ensuring that 100% of this campaign goes toward feeding the hungry.

URGENCY MEETS OPPORTUNITY

Food Distribution Date: December 12, 2026

Why December?

December is a season of celebration for many—but for struggling families in Nigeria and Ghana, it's often a time of deeper isolation and despair. While the world feasts, they go without.

We want to change that.

By distributing care packages in mid-December, we provide:

Holiday relief for families facing seasonal financial strain
Nutritional support during a time when food prices spike
A tangible reminder that they are not forgotten—that God sees them, and His people care

But we need to act NOW. Procurement, logistics, and distribution across two countries require advance planning, coordination, and resources.

The clock is ticking. Families are waiting. Will you answer the call?

THE HEART OF OUR MISSION

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." — Matthew 25:35 (NIV)

Jesus didn't just preach compassion—He lived it. He fed the 5,000. He wept with the brokenhearted. He touched the untouchable and loved the unlovable.

And He calls us to do the same.

When we feed a hungry widow in Enugu, we feed Christ. When we provide for a struggling family in Accra, we serve Christ. When we show up with rice and oil and hope, we become the answer to someone's desperate prayer.

This is not charity. This is worship.

"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done." — Proverbs 19:17 (NIV)

HOW YOU CAN HELP: EVERY GIFT MATTERS

$35 — Feeds 1 family (4 people) for a week
$70 — Feeds 2 families (8 people)
$105 — Feeds 3 families (12 people)
$175 — Feeds 5 families (20 people)
$350 — Feeds 10 families (40 people)
$700 — Feeds 20 families (80 people)

No amount is too small. Every dollar brings us closer to our goal. Every gift writes a new chapter in someone's story of hope.

WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?

Imagine for a moment that you are that widow on the roadside in Enugu.

Your husband is gone. Your home is gone. Your hope is fading. Your children are hungry, and you have nothing to give them.

Now imagine a stranger appears—not with judgment or pity, but with provision. With kindness. With a care package that says, "You matter. You are seen. You are loved."

What would that moment mean to you?

That's the moment we're creating—2,000 times over—this December.

But we can't do it without you.

Jesus asked His disciples a simple question when faced with a hungry crowd:

"You give them something to eat." — Mark 6:37

Today, He's asking the same of us.
