We're inviting you to join in our celebration of 7 strong years of service to the Burn Community. With donors like you, we have been able to impact the lives of nearly 1,600 burn survivors with various needs including: financial assistance to purchase burn garments, transportation to medical appointments, outpatient and inpatient care packages, resources for burn camps, emotional support and much more. We have been on an incredible journey thus far and are looking forward to an event brighter future with your help.

HOW DO YOUR DONATIONS HELP?

1) We have a new BRAVE Program with 33 pediatric burn survivors and we are looking to add on 25 additional burn survivors this year. In this BRAVE Program, we acknowledge that one burn survivor may experience their healing journey in a different way than others, just as some family members may do the same when confronting tragedy. We honor each of our survivors and their family members’ INDIVIDUALITY and personalize our services for them as they navigate life post-burn incident. We also celebrate burn survivor birthday’s and or the date they survived their burn injury (burnversary).

The estimated cost for this programming in 2022 is $4,020.

2) Our existing IMPACT Program allows us to partner with Burn Units around the United States to provide "Boxes of Love" care packages to burn survivors and their families. These care packages are filled with specific items to comfort burn patients and their families. Boxes of Love contain such items as lip balms, gum, floss, manicure kits, small journals, pens and inspirational cards.

The estimated cost for this programming in 2022 is $2,000.

3) Our IMPACT Program also allows us to partner with Burn Survivors who have been discharged from the hospital but still may have needs. These care packages are personalized for each individual burn survivor.

The estimated cost for this programming in 2022 is $1,750.

We also look forward to beginning a new program in 2022 that will assist burn survivors needing financial support for mental health needs.
