We continue to build our first Kijana Global Innovation School.

Help us acquire a new bus, sustain and grow our operations and provide a Kijana school education to more young learners.

In 2025, we are celebrating FIVE years since opening the Kijana Global Innovation School. It has been quite a journey thanks to hundreds of supporters and international and local visitors. We have grown from 15 students to over 235. On the first day of school in January 2025, we received 27 new students alone.

We have built 10 core classrooms, and administrative block, a two-story junior secondary building, three toilet blocks, a kitchen, perimeter walls and security systems, lighting, including solar lighting, gardens, a well and cisterns. Students have access to exploratory opportunities, including visiting game parks, have thousands of books for their use and literary exploration, have smart boards, 3D printers.

We began with 5 teachers in 2020 and now have 23 and many more staff members.

We are in the process of constructing a state-of- the art library and media center with an amphitheater.

Beautiful art abounds and decorates the campus and inspires.

Our award-winning Care, Share and Explore program inspires students and teachers with environmental learning opportunities and tree-planting and discovery trips to natural areas, including islands, game parks, rainforests and more and connects the experiences to the classrooms.

We have two large buses and a small school van. We are in serious need of a new bus to transport students from our new and burgeoning market, of Yala.

Please help and give so we can move more students to and from school safely and enjoyably so students can explore, discover and innovate and so we can continue to build and develop the best educational opportunities for students in the region. In addition to a bus, we need to improve security around the school, ultimately build more another classroom block, pay teacher's salaries, take students out on excursions, expanding their horizons and much more.

The Swahili people say, "Kidole Kimoja Hakivunji Chawa," which means one person cannot do everything himself or herself.

We need your support and need to work in collaboration together.
