Wing Wars of Acadiana Fundraiser for Gifting Grace Project

Welcome to the most fun (and fiery) fundraiser in Acadiana!

The Screaming Chicken Challenge is a community-wide fundraising competition connected to Wing Wars of Acadiana. Local leaders, business professionals, and community influencers have each agreed to become an official “Screaming Chicken” — creating their own fundraising pages and competing to raise funds for Gifting Grace Project.

But behind the feathers and flames is something deeply important.

All funds raised through this campaign directly support homeless and vulnerable children across Acadiana. Gifting Grace Project provides essential resources like:

• Warm coats and socks

• Hygiene kits

• School supplies and backpacks

• After-school snacks

• Christmas gifts

• Community advocacy and support

Thousands of children in our region experience housing instability each year. Many are living in motels, doubled up with relatives, or in temporary situations — all while trying to succeed in school.

This challenge runs from today to May 16, and each Screaming Chicken has committed to raising at least $1,000 to help remove barriers and create stability for children who need it most.

Gifting Grace Project is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization based out of Lafayette, Louisiana whose mission is to freely love, serve and support homeless and underserved children and teens in the community.

Our vision is to inspire homeless children in our local communities and around the world to reach for greater purpose and destiny by removing common barriers and providing them with the tools necessary for transformative growth.
