The Memorial Fund serves as a meaningful and enduring tribute to officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Through this fund, the Foundation supports memorial events locally and nationally, including participation in national tributes that honor fallen heroes and ensure their legacies are never forgotten.

This year, proceeds from the event will help send a contingency of San Diego County police officers to Washington, D.C., during National Police Memorial Week to honor La Mesa Police Department Officer Lauren Craven, who was recently killed in the line of duty. Standing together at our nation’s capital, our officers will pay tribute to Officer Craven’s service, support her family, and ensure that her sacrifice is formally recognized among those who have given their lives in protection of others.
