The Memorial Fund serves as a meaningful and enduring tribute to officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Through this fund, the Foundation supports memorial events locally and nationally, including participation in national tributes that honor fallen heroes and ensure their legacies are never forgotten.

This year’s event will support sending a contingency of San Diego Police Department officers to Washington, D.C. for National Police Memorial Week to honor San Diego Police Officer Jason Zdunich as well as La Mesa Police Department Officer Lauren Craven, who was recently killed in the line of duty. Each officer selected to attend has a direct connection to these officers and will stand together in our nation’s capital to pay tribute to their service and sacrifice.
