For the women we serve, the holidays are usually a season of no.

No, we can't afford that. No, not this year. No, maybe next time.

Season of Yes gives her one season where the answer is yes, for her children and for herself.

LAST YEAR

In our first holiday season as a nonprofit, we had $750. It was every dollar Chin Up, Girl had raised, and we used it to fill every single wish list item for 7 mothers and 15 children. We never had to tell one of them no. We threw a glam day too.

One mom had already moved on from her program by the holidays, but we kept her on our list. Earlier that year she had lost a child to violence, and she was struggling to find her way into the season. We did her hair, brought gifts for her and her four children, and set her family up with a tree, lights and ornaments. At our holiday glam day, she told us she could finally feel the holidays. She smiled the entire visit.

THIS YEAR

We're saying yes to 25 mothers and their children, working alongside Doors of Hope, Hope for Justice and Melanated Moms of Murfreesboro.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

She's on the list too. Most holiday programs serve the kids while mom fills out the form and watches. Every mom we serve gets her own wish list, and her gifts arrive wrapped. For a lot of these women, nobody has wrapped a gift for them in years.

Her children's gifts arrive unwrapped, with paper, tape and tags, so she can wrap them herself. Those gifts should come from her, and she deserves to see what her kids are getting before Christmas morning.

And we bring the glam. Our glam squad shows up at partner holiday parties with hair, makeup, nails, brows and facials, so she gets a day where she's treated like a guest.

HOW YOU CAN SAY YES

$100 fills one woman's wish list, wrapped, with her name on it.

$275 is A Family's Yes: one mom and her children, completely.

$750 brings a full glam day to a partner's holiday party.

Any amount gets us closer to every yes on the list.

Want to make it a group effort? Click "Become a fundraiser" and start a team with your office, church, friends or family. Adopting a family together is a great way to show your kids what giving looks like.

Gifts are needed by November 30 so we can shop in November and deliver in time for December celebrations.

Chin Up, Girl is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and every gift is tax deductible.

Thank you for saying yes with us.
