UPDATE:

We're so grateful for all the community support! Thank you to all the folks who donated and shared.

Under a tight deadline, we renewed our lease for one year and accepted a rent increase of over $500 per month. We adjusted our fundraising goal to $7,200 to reflect 12 months of the rent increase + security deposit.

Even though our current space isn't ideal for hosting community meetings, it will at least give us some stability as we continue to search for a better space and navigate the challenging months ahead.

The NYSYLC is the first undocumented youth led organization in New York. We work to empower immigrant youth through leadership development, grassroots organizing, educational advancement, and self-expression. Our goal is to give undocumented youth the tools and space to organize and create change in our communities.
