At SEED, we believe healthy communities begin with access—to fresh food, practical skills, and shared spaces to grow.

In Chattanooga, we currently steward two community-rooted garden sites: one at Hardy Elementary School and one at the Jesse Igou Community Center. These gardens are living classrooms, where youth and adults learn to grow food, cook nourishing meals, and build lifelong skills in sustainability and wellness. They also provide fresh, locally grown produce to families who need it most.

When you give to SEED, you’re investing in these spaces and the people they serve—helping us tend our gardens, offer accessible programming, and deepen our impact. Your support plants seeds of health, confidence, and connection that continue to grow far beyond the garden beds.
