About the Speaker: Anita Thompson is the farmer and owner of Double T Bar Farm in Taylor, Arizona. She grows heirloom and open pollinated seeds, herbs for culinary and medicinal use, and is dabbling in flowers/native plants. She also distills essential oils and hydrosols on farm. As a military veteran, she is a proud member of the Farmer Veteran Coalition. She works for the University of Arizona in small scale farmer/rancher education, works with small ruminant producers, and teaches “Agriculture 102” for military veterans in conjunction with the non-profit The Land at Home Project.
