Vocal Arts of Fairfax will be performing at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall on June 21, 2027 and we need your help to get our choir members there! Contributions to this fundraiser will be used to directly reduce the overall costs for each and every member of our community choir so that we can all participate and perform on stage at Carnegie Hall.

What makes Vocal Arts of Fairfax (VAF) special? Our mission is to serve and enrich the community through accessible and inclusive choral music experiences and education. By providing community-focused, accessible and inclusive choral music performance, support, and educational experiences for our members and the public, as well as serving under-represented populations through music programs and charitable community care outreach initiatives, VAF really puts the “community” part of community choir at the forefront of everything we do.

Why should you support this fundraising effort? As we are focused on inclusivity and want all of our members to be able to experience this incredible opportunity, the goal of this fundraiser is to reduce the cost for each of our members by as much as possible and decrease the financial barrier that may prohibit some members from participating.

Can I direct my donation to support a specific choir member?* All funds raised through this platform will be pooled and split equally among our choir’s participants. While we encourage you to support a specific member’s individual fundraising page, please know that all contributions will support the broader choir. We have opted to set things up this way in an effort to make this as fair and accessible as possible for all of our participants, regardless of their networks and who they might know.

Is my donation tax-deductible? Yes! Vocal Arts of Fairfax is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and all contributions are tax deductible as allowed by the IRS.

Make your donation by January 15th to help make this dream trip a reality. Be a part of our journey!

*If you would like to support a specific member’s expenses, you are welcome to coordinate that with the member directly. Note that any payments made from person to person, while generous and supportive, would not be considered tax-deductible donations.

See what we mean about living our mission as we sing I Dream A World.
