You Matter. Your Story Matters.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, strengthen connection, and help ensure people can access support when they need it.

Throughout September, Anam Cara Counseling is raising funds to help make mental health services more accessible in our community.

We believe connection matters. Sometimes support begins with a simple question: “How are you really doing?” We don’t have to have all the answers. We can listen without judgment, stay present, take someone seriously, and help connect them with appropriate support.

But knowing help exists and being able to access it are not always the same thing.

Your donation helps support access to:

Counseling and mental health services
Therapeutic and support groups
Equine-assisted psychotherapy
Programs that foster connection and emotional well-being
Services for individuals and families who may otherwise face barriers to care

Every gift makes a difference.

By giving to Anam Cara this September, you are helping us continue creating opportunities for people to be heard, supported, and connected to compassionate mental health care.

Suicide prevention doesn’t belong to one person, organization, or month. It takes all of us—checking in, listening, learning, connecting people with resources, and helping make care accessible.

You matter. Your story matters.

Please consider making a donation and sharing this campaign with others. Together, we can help strengthen access to mental health support in our community.

If you or someone you know needs immediate emotional support, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
