What is it?

We wish to tell the Singapore story from our hearts and invite all to experience it.

We've gone through so much

From an little island port city to today's jewel of Southeast Asia, a destination not only for business, but a place of beauty, fun for the young and old, with a diverse and inclusive community. Thanks to our immersive and artistic team, see the San Mateo County Event Center transformed in to a garden city with replicas of the Merlion, Supertrees, and more.

We're proud to be Singaporean

We very much want to come together to celebrate and commemorate the nation that has given us so much, and share our joy as we celebrate 60 years of independence. On our expansive stage, enjoy a variety of artistic entertainers and inspirational speakers we're putting together to showcase the diversity and vibrancy of Singapore.

A promotion like no other

Not only do we want to gather, enjoy delicious Singapore cuisines and speak our local Singlish, we are delighted to invite everyone to find out more about Singapore and to learn what our nation has to offer to the world. From our food chefs to you, we want to fill your bellies at our very own hawker style food centre bristling with a variety of delectable favourites.

Immersive theatre

Through an original, interactive and participatory immersive theatre that our creatives have put together, experience the sights, sounds and tastes of Singapore, in a heart-warming three-act skit showcasing the Singapore story.

Singapore dance

An original dance performance chereographed for the Festival weaves elements of Singapore and will be certain to bring joy and lightness to your heart.

Enterprise and entrepreneurship

At our Marketplace, meet enterprises from startups to well-known corporations, and also those from our Bay Area neighbourhood showcasing our nation as a buzzing, lively and growing hub of creativity and innovation.

Network

Everyone of any nationality, ethnicity, race; everyone is welcome. We love for you to come, to renew friendships or build networks, or to simply immerse yourself in an exciting and memorable festival.

Where and when?

We're aiming to welcome 3,000 to a 33,000 sq ft expo hall at the San Mateo County Event Center on September 21st, 2025, from 10 am to 8 pm. Everyone is welcome! For registration details, visit the Singapore Festival web site.

How can you support?

We welcome all monetary and community contributions (sponsorship of goods or services). To make a community contribution, visit this page.

Recognition

All monetary donations will be acknowledged as appropriate (unless you wish to remain anonymous), such as in our programme, event web site, digital signage and print media at the event venue. We will also bestow these Singaporean symbols with your recognition:

For donations of $1,000 and above, we will be pleased to offer complimentary VIP tickets including reserved seating, priority access, and an exclusive invite to a donor appreciation event.

Naming Rights

We would like to offer a bespoke opportunity to target your donation towards a specific part of our event where in honour of your generosity, your name or company will be displayed on a plaque, and highlighted in digital and physical signage as appropriate:

Towards a specific zone or part of, such as the Food (stalls), Marketplace (booths), Entertainment (stage), Immersive Theatre, or Games zones
To present a specific programme, perform, or entertainer on our stage
For a specific prop or artwork such as replicas of the Merlion, Super Trees, and more
Towards production elements such as for printing banners and artwork, A/V and other equipment setup and rental
For subsidising or sponsoring a group of social enterprises or artists towards their booth rentals
And any other targeted opportunities of your interest

How did it start?

About SingaporeConnect

Founded in 2005, SingaporeConnect has held events from family-friendly gatherings to milestone national celebrations. With our partners we serve as a cultural and social bridge to the community of Singaporeans and Friends of Singapore in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Learn more on our web site.

Is SingaporeConnect a registered corporation?

Yes. SingaporeConnect is a registered non-profit public benefit corporation in the State of California, with EIN 37-2180560. Articles of Incorporation.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Yes. Givebutter, this donation platform, issues receipts and other relevant documents as required for your donation.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

No. SingaporeConnect is currently pending IRS 501(c)(4) (Social Welfare Organization) exempt status. It is not a charitable organization. We do not expect your donation to be a qualified tax-deduction for individual taxes, we however if tied to a business towards marketing or promotion, it may qualify as a business expenses.
