In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, Slow Girls Run Club is hosting a donation run to raise money for Volare's free trauma-informed survivor support services! Join us on Wednesday, April 16th! We will start to gather at 6pm and go on our run at 6:30, which is a 2.5-ish mile loop from the Smithsonian Metro stop to the Lincoln Memorial and back! This run will be open to EVERYONE and to all pace ranges!

We will be hosting a giveaway with some great prizes! Anyone with proof of donation can enter. Donations include here on GiveButter, getting some of our SGRC x Volare merch on Bonfire, and donations at the event!

Donations go directly to Volare's survivor support services. We offer free, trauma-informed, and holistic advocacy, legal, and therapeutic services to survivors of any type of crime in DC. Volare also co-runs DC's Sexual Assault and Rape Crisis Response Program. We also engage in outreach and education with the community!

Volare is an open door to any survivor, of any crime. We advocate for equity in victimization services, believing every survivor deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Volare provides a holistic approach to restoration and healing—both for the individual and the systems that failed them.
