If you’ve ever wondered how you can make a direct impact on our local wildlife, it starts right here. Whether it’s an orphaned grey squirrel needing round-the-clock feedings, a trembling cottontail recovering from an injury, a tiny flying squirrel displaced from its nest, or an opossum clinging to survival after being hit by a car, behind every single wild animal brought through our doors, we are fighting alongside them for their second chance.

Over the last five years, our rescue has grown tremendously. We are now caring for more native species and higher volumes of wildlife than ever before. To keep saying yes to every animal in need, we’ve reached a critical turning point: we need a dedicated standalone space. This space will allow us to maintain high quality care, optimize our daily workflow, and increase our overall capacity. Most importantly, it will give larger adult animals the room they need to grow and heal, enable us to accept species we currently cannot accommodate, and finally allow us to welcome volunteers. We desperately need this dedicated rehabilitation space to secure the future of our rescue.

We are hosting this fundraiser to build a temperature-controlled shed. For orphaned infants and recovering wildlife, extreme summer heat and winter freezes are life-threatening. A climate-controlled environment gives these animals the quiet, stable shelter they need to heal and grow before returning to the wild.

Why your donation matters right now:

100% to materials: We have a dedicated team of builders willing to donate 100% of their labor to build this structure, meaning every single dollar raised goes directly toward building supplies.
More capacity: More space means more enclosures and, ultimately, more lives saved.
The final push: We’ve come so far thanks to your support from our paint night and other fundraisers, but we need one final push to make our spring ground-breaking a reality.

How you can help:

Make a financial contribution to support our goal.
Share leads on corporate sponsors, employer donation-matching programs, or grant opportunities.
Spread the word by sharing this fundraiser with friends, family, and local community groups.

Every dollar brings us closer to our goal. Together, we can turn this dream into a reality and ensure no animal in need is ever turned away.
