Girls On Campus will be offering two scholarships for a high school senior and one current undergraduate each, receiving $1,000.

The purpose of this scholarship is to support incoming and current undergraduates based on both merit and financial need. However, we also aim to identify students who are committed to making a positive difference in their communities and who demonstrate active growth and improvement.

Essay Prompt:

In a minimum of 250-500 words, discuss the significant challenges faced by women of color pursuing higher education and outline your plans to address and overcome these challenges ( this will show any leadership qualities/merit)

Eligibility:

Open to high school seniors or current undergraduates who self-identify as women.
Applicants must identify as women of color or have a background in Hispanic/Latino, African American, Asian, Middle Eastern, or Native American communities.
Candidates must intend to enroll in an undergraduate program in the semester following high school graduation.
