Join Us for the 2nd Annual Shine A Light Concert!

This past March, a team of 14 doctors from Addis Ababa conducted medical check-ups for students at The Kololo School. What they found was sobering: over 50% of the children are suffering from malnutrition. At The Kololo School, students already receive a daily lunch, typically rice with barley or red beans. For most, this is their only meal of the day. This program is essential. Our goal is to protect and improve it.

Funds raised from this year’s Shine A Light Concert will ensure the school can continue providing these daily meals without compromise in the year ahead. With additional support, we hope to thoughtfully expand by adding nutrient-rich greens, a morning bread or snack, and a greater variety over time.

Why This Matters

For these students, food is not a supplement to education; it is what makes learning possible. Without nourishment, there is no focus, no energy, and no real opportunity to learn.

The Event

Join us for an unforgettable day of live music and community. The afternoon will begin with a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony.
Followed by live performances from an incredible lineup of musicians. Private Estate in Los Angeles (Address shared later).
