Welcome to our Vinyl Shade Coverings campaign!

The Joseph Sibilly Elementary School PTA is raising $5,000 to install vinyl shade coverings over our outdoor play area, so our students can enjoy recess and outdoor activities safely, without unnecessary exposure to intense sun and heat.

Playtime is an essential part of a child's school day. It is when they run, laugh, socialize, and recharge before heading back into the classroom. But right now, our outdoor play area offers little to no protection from the sun, which means our students and staff often have to limit outdoor time or push through uncomfortable, even unsafe, conditions just to let kids be kids. That is not the outdoor experience any child deserves.

With your support, these funds will go directly toward purchasing and installing durable vinyl shade coverings over our play area, creating a safer, more comfortable space where our students can play freely throughout the school day, no matter how strong the sun is.

We also want to be clear about how your donation will be handled. Our PTA takes stewardship of every contribution seriously. We track how funds raised through this campaign are spent, we hold ourselves accountable to our school community, and we are always happy to share updates as this project comes together. When you give here, you are trusting us to follow through, and that is a responsibility we take to heart.
