Tour Cost and Payment Terms
The total cost of this journey is $8,460 per person on double occupancy, dependent on securing 15 committed travelers. Of this amount, $1,650 will directly support Princeton in Asia’s fellowships. For solo travelers, the single supplement is $1,395 and should be factored into the total cost. A nonrefundable $1,000 per person deposit is required at the time of booking. A Breakdown of What’s Included:

Accommodation: Three, four, and five-star hotels with daily breakfast. For those traveling with medication—all hotel rooms will have a fridge available.
Transfers & Transportation: Airport arrival transfers are included, along with the best available train tickets in Uzbekistan.
Guided Experiences: Local English-speaking guides throughout, all sightseeing and entrance fees, and a MIR tour manager.
Meals: Daily breakfast, plus 14 lunches and 14 dinners.

Wander the lively Siab Bazaar, and learn the secrets of ancient papermaking at a family-run workshop. In Samarkand, history feels alive in every corner.

Bukhara: In the heart of the desert lies Bukhara, an oasis steeped in history. The city’s Old Town offers a glimpse into Silk Road life with its domed bazaars, the imposing Ark Citadel, and serene Labi-Hauz Plaza. Turkistan: Explore the UNESCO-listed mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasavi, a 12th-century religious leader who played a critical role in the development of Sufism in Central Asia.
