Many of our members come to us after experiences that left them isolated or overlooked. At Simple Life they find a steady place to learn, grow, and connect with people who truly see them.

Why We Exist
Our days are built around real human moments. A member practicing a new skill and hearing quiet encouragement in return. A shared meal that brings the room together. A familiar routine that gives someone with anxiety the confidence to participate. These small moments add up to something powerful. They create stability. They create dignity. They create community.

Sheri’s Story
Sheri Porter has spent her entire career standing beside people who have been pushed to the margins. Before founding Simple Life she worked in direct care, supporting individuals with significant needs. She always believed people flourish when they are met with respect and patience. She carried that belief into the creation of Simple Life. To Sheri this is not a program. It is a place where people matter, where relationships lead the way, and where every member is treated with the same kindness she would want for her own family.
